Birthday Party!

Since you and Hallie's birthdays are only 3 days apart I decided to do one big party. We had a Mickey and Minnie mouse party. It turned out so so cute and you both got spoiled. Grandma Micki and Grandpa Rex were there and so was Aunt Jessi and Jaimi and their kids. Grandma Marlene came with Rylee and Bodee. Stephanie and Amy came with their kids too. It was definetly bitter sweet to watch you and Hallie turn another year older. We love you both so much.

1 YEAR OLD!!

My baby is 1... 1 year old. I cannot believe it. This year has flown by faster than any other year. Before I know it you are going to be 18 and leaving the house. Slayde you bring so much joy into our lives. You are the busiest baby and always keep us on our toes. You LOVE to be outside even if its freezing. You stare out the window and say DAD DAD hoping he will come get you. If the door is cracked at all you are heading outside. You are pretty much running everywhere and you climb everything. You say mama, dad, hot, ruff, moo, burr, ut-oh, and rawr. You dance when music is on. You have 5 teeth and 2 more almost through. You were 22LBS and 29.5IN at your check up. Dixie cannot believe how big and advance you are. You are still nursing and love it. You will only take a bottle if its not me giving it to you. You nurse all night and I swear I got more sleep when you were a newborn. You love your mom and dad and specially Hallie. When Hallie wakes up you have the biggest smile on your face and you go lay on her. I wish I could keep you in this stage forever but I can't wait to see what this next year brings. We love you so much Slayde. Thanks for choosing us to be your parents.

11 Months!

There is nothing worse than realizing your baby is almost ONE!! I seriously cannot believe you are already 11 months old. You are such a wild man Slayde. I can't turn my back on you for more than 3 seconds and you've already tore into something. You love to climb and play on the stairs. If you hear Hallie drop the gate you stop whatever you're doing and bolt for the stairs. You can climb down from the couch and chairs. You climb out of your high chair and onto the table. You are always in the cupboards and pulling everything out. You love to play in the toilet and toilet paper. You are 22lbs and getting really tall. You have two bottom teeth and two top teeth. You hate to eat and spit everything out. You only eat noodles or the squeezable applesauce. You are finally starting to take a bottle but you wont if I try and feed it to you. You slept better as a newborn then you do now. You constantly want to nurse at night and I have to hold you all night or you won't sleep or nap. It was such a fun christmas with you here. You loved the red car that santa brought you and Hallie. We took you two sledding and you were not scared at all. You laughed the whole way down the hill. You are definetly not my child. We love you Slayde you always brighten up the room and your smile is contagious. Everyone loves you the second the meet you. We are so blessed to be your parents.

10 Months Old

I cannot believe that you will be ONE in two months. It feels like I just had you yesterday. You are the sweetest boy and probably one of the busiest babys in the world. You stand up all by yourself and are going to walk any day now. I think you are too afraid to walk or you would be. You climb like a monkey and can get anywhere you want to go. You are still nursing but you are willing to take a bottle if you have to. You love the applesauce from the tube but won't eat it from a spoon. You love romen noodles, mac n cheese, and hotdogs. You won't sit in your highchair you just try and climb out of it.You play patty cake, clap your hands, fake cough, and wave bye bye. You say "da da" "ot oh" and you jabber all day long. You are growing and learning so much every day. You have two bottom teeth and your top left one just popped through. You love your mom and cry whenever I leave the room. I wish you would sleep better, you are still getting up 3-4 times a night to eat. You and Hallie love to wrestle eachother. You guys are the best of friends! We love you Slayde. I wish I could keep you at this age forever.

9 months old!

These last 9 months have flown by. I seriously have to think for a second when someone asks me how old you are cause I swear my baby isn't 9 months old yet. Then again I feel like you're way older than that because you are so advance. I cannot keep up with you. You're so close to walking and you love to climb the stairs. Every time I turn around you've climbed to the top of the stairs. You can almost stand up all by yourself and you walk along anything and everything. You say DaDa and Uh Oh and Jabber all day long. You won't really eat anything and you still spit everything out. You will eat a little bit of Mac n cheese or potatoes. You are still nursing and won't take a bottle or sippy. You have 2 bottom teeth and love to bite mom. You love to give me kisses but then you bite my lip. You were 20LBS and 28Inches at your 9 month checkup. You love Hallie and look for her when she's not around. You are still sleeping with us and you wake up 3-4 times a night to eat. You love to wake the whole family up before 7am. You love animals and love to chase our cat around. You are the sweetest baby boy and have such a contagious smile. We love you more than anything Slayde and can't wait to watch you grow!

8 months old

Oh Slayder bug, I can't seem to keep up with you. You are growing way to fast and are WAY too advance for your age. You are doing things Hallie didn't do til a year old. You pull yourself up on everything and walk around them. You can even climb the stairs. You are going to be walkin before we know it. You never sit still not even for 3 seconds. You are always on the go and it's near impossible to change your diaper and clothes. You finally popped a tooth thru and the second one isn't far behind. You have been so cranky lately and hardly ever sleep so hopefully that tooth comes thru soon. Everytime I feed you something you spit it out, so you pretty much just nurse all the time. You love chasing the vacuum around. You love your dad lately and cry whenever he leaves the room without you. You want to be held 24/7 even when you sleep. You love to play peek-a-boo and patty cake. You have the cutest smile ever. You love attention from anyone and everyone. We are so blessed to be your parents.
