10 Months Old

I cannot believe that you will be ONE in two months. It feels like I just had you yesterday. You are the sweetest boy and probably one of the busiest babys in the world. You stand up all by yourself and are going to walk any day now. I think you are too afraid to walk or you would be. You climb like a monkey and can get anywhere you want to go. You are still nursing but you are willing to take a bottle if you have to. You love the applesauce from the tube but won't eat it from a spoon. You love romen noodles, mac n cheese, and hotdogs. You won't sit in your highchair you just try and climb out of it.You play patty cake, clap your hands, fake cough, and wave bye bye. You say "da da" "ot oh" and you jabber all day long. You are growing and learning so much every day. You have two bottom teeth and your top left one just popped through. You love your mom and cry whenever I leave the room. I wish you would sleep better, you are still getting up 3-4 times a night to eat. You and Hallie love to wrestle eachother. You guys are the best of friends! We love you Slayde. I wish I could keep you at this age forever.

9 months old!

These last 9 months have flown by. I seriously have to think for a second when someone asks me how old you are cause I swear my baby isn't 9 months old yet. Then again I feel like you're way older than that because you are so advance. I cannot keep up with you. You're so close to walking and you love to climb the stairs. Every time I turn around you've climbed to the top of the stairs. You can almost stand up all by yourself and you walk along anything and everything. You say DaDa and Uh Oh and Jabber all day long. You won't really eat anything and you still spit everything out. You will eat a little bit of Mac n cheese or potatoes. You are still nursing and won't take a bottle or sippy. You have 2 bottom teeth and love to bite mom. You love to give me kisses but then you bite my lip. You were 20LBS and 28Inches at your 9 month checkup. You love Hallie and look for her when she's not around. You are still sleeping with us and you wake up 3-4 times a night to eat. You love to wake the whole family up before 7am. You love animals and love to chase our cat around. You are the sweetest baby boy and have such a contagious smile. We love you more than anything Slayde and can't wait to watch you grow!

8 months old

Oh Slayder bug, I can't seem to keep up with you. You are growing way to fast and are WAY too advance for your age. You are doing things Hallie didn't do til a year old. You pull yourself up on everything and walk around them. You can even climb the stairs. You are going to be walkin before we know it. You never sit still not even for 3 seconds. You are always on the go and it's near impossible to change your diaper and clothes. You finally popped a tooth thru and the second one isn't far behind. You have been so cranky lately and hardly ever sleep so hopefully that tooth comes thru soon. Everytime I feed you something you spit it out, so you pretty much just nurse all the time. You love chasing the vacuum around. You love your dad lately and cry whenever he leaves the room without you. You want to be held 24/7 even when you sleep. You love to play peek-a-boo and patty cake. You have the cutest smile ever. You love attention from anyone and everyone. We are so blessed to be your parents.

7 months!

Ok seriously, time slow down. Slayde you are 7months old and getting so big. I feel like you're not even a baby anymore. You are all over the place, you are army crawling everywhere and you are so close to crawling. You pull yourself up in your pack n play and you can say mama, you only say it when your crying though. You sit up and sit up from laying down. You have been so cranky these past few weeks and I'm pretty sure it's teething. You are such a mamas boy, you cry every time I leave the room. You love Mac N Cheese, mashed potatoes, romen noodles and cookies. You cry If I take your cookies away. You still won't take a bottle no matter what's in it. You drink out of a cup really good. You sleep with us and want to nurse all night it's really annoying. I just want you to sleep all night. You won't nap unless someone's holding you, mostly me. You weighed almost 19lbs a few weeks ago at your checkup and were 27inches long. You are one big boy. You are so tough too, Hallie beats up on you all day. I can't put you down without her getting you. She loves you so much and cries for you if she can't see you. We just moved to Koosharem and you adjusted well. I'm sure you'll love it here when you're a little bigger. You are still the smiliest baby around! You love attention from everyone and they love to give it to you. We love you Slayde. You bring so much joy into our lives.

6 months old!!! WHAT?!?!?!?

6 months old.....My baby boy is 6 months old. I feel like I just brought you home from the hospital. I am going to have to start planning your first birthday because I know this next 6 months is going to go just as fast. I don't know how I got blessed with such a good baby seriously, you are THE best baby ever. Everyone who sees you loves you and that big smile. No one can believe how happy you are all the time. You are a bit spoiled though and have to be held all the time. You love to sit in your bumbo and are so close to sitting up by yourself. You want to crawl so bad you get up on your knees and try to scoot. If you get really excited and want to crawl you hold you arms and legs up and it looks like you're tying to fly. You can spin in a circle on your belly to turned around. We have started giving you baby food but you still won't take a bottle and just want to nurse. You're making it so I can't leave you with anyone. You are finally starting to sleep better at night. You usually go to bed around 8 or 9 and don't wake up to eat around 3. It's been so nice to finally get more than an hour of sleep at a time. Your bottom tooth is about to pop through and you've been such a good teether. You only get a little fussy when you are tired. You are your sisters brother, you can squeel just like she use to and it's very high pitch. You are my chunky monkey, you haven't gone to your 6 month checkup yet, but we think you're around 18LBS. You have been laughing a lot lately, especially when Hallie throws things at you. Hallie loves you so much and never lets you out of her sight or she's crying "Where'd my baby go?" She loves to bug you and she thinks she can change your diaper now. I can't even begin to image our lives without you Slayde. We love you so much.

5 Months Old!!

I cannot believe my baby boy is 5 months old. I love and hate it at the same time. I hate that you are getting so big, I want you to stay my baby forever. I love that you are learning something new everyday. You are so strong and so smart. You are trying to crawl already. You get up on your feet and launch forward it's crazy. You are such a good baby, probably the best baby in the world. You smile all day long, specially when someone gives you attention. You are a huge mamas boy and I love it. You love to nurse and still won't take a bottle, I will probably have to nurse you til you're five!! Thank heavens you will take a binki. I wish I could say you were a good sleeper but you're not. You wake up 2-5 times a night to eat and once you wake up you won't lay back down in your bed I have to hold you. You love your bouncer and you sit way good in the bumbo but you can almost wiggle your way out of it. If I sing to you, you sing right back. You are grabbing anything and everything that's in front of you. You were sick for the first time ever last week with an ear infection, herpingina, and a horrible cold. Your dad blessed you last Sunday and gave you an amazing blessing. You were so good the whole time. You have brought more joy into our lives then we could have ever imagined. We love you so much Slayde.

4 Months Old

Oh Slayde, you are the best baby I could have ever asked for. You seriously just melt my heart everyday. You only cry if you're hungry or want to be held. You are the cutest baby and always so smiley. I think you look like me more than you look like your dad. You definitely have my eyes. You can almost roll from your back to your belly. You are constantly kicking and squirming. You coo and talk to me all the time. I swear you are teething, because you drool all day and are always chewing on your hands. You sit up so good in the bumbo and love your bouncer. We started to give you rice cereal and applesauce but you aren't really sure about either. You are still nursing and refuse to take a bottle. You are one strong baby, you get a hold of the back of my arm and won't let go. It hurts like crazy. You are such a momma's boy and I love it, I hope you stay that way forever. You love attention and love when I make that airplane noise, you smile so big and get really excited, then you try and copy me. You are such a chunk, I think you're around 15.5 LBS. You still cry if someone sneezes or makes a really loud noise. You're sister still loves you death, she wont leave you alone... EVER. We love you Slayde. You and Hallie have been the greatest thing to happen to us.

3 months old!!

Oh Slayde how everyone loves you. Really we can't get enough of your cute face. You are the best baby I could of asked for, you only cry when you want to be held. You're have your dads calm personality thanks heavens. Hallie loves you so much and attacks you all day long and you don't make a peep. You are my little chunky monkey, you weighed 14.4 LBS the other day. You are so strong and try to sit up whenever you are laying down. You are starting to talk and giggle, it's the cutest thing. You will not take a bottle no matter how hard we try, you just gag and cry.I haven't tried any kind of food or rice yet since you won't take a bottle. You love your binki and having a blanket by your face when you sleep. You are sleeping from about 9-3 sometimes longer. You love your mom and when I'm not holding you you cry til I do. I tried sitting you in the bumbo but you're still a little small for it. You are seriously the cutest baby on the face of the earth. We couldn't love you more.
